Product Management

This page brings together my product management and product-adjacent experience across more than 20 years of building and delivering software, payment and financial systems. It provides a clear, chronological view of how my hands-on technical, business analysis and delivery experience has evolved into broader product leadership responsibilities over the years.
This page sits within iaci’s Building axis: it shows how ideas, real-world constraints, and successive decisions translate into products delivered over time. My approach to product and project management is deliberately pragmatic: methods and frameworks serve the problem at hand, not the other way around.

Product & Project Management Approach

I approach product and project management as a continuous decision-making discipline rather than a fixed methodology. My focus is on understanding the problem space, the constraints (technical, regulatory, organisational), and the people involved, then applying the right level of structure to move work forward.

Depending on context, this may involve Agile, Lean, Scrum, or hybrid models — but always in service of clarity, delivery, and learning. I typically operate close to the work, owning problem framing, stakeholder alignment, and execution flow from discovery through post-launch.

  • Domains: Digital wallets & tokenisation, internet banking, HR systems, credit bureaus, collections, and customer self-service tools.
  • Product responsibilities: Problem discovery, requirements shaping, backlog ownership, stakeholder alignment across business and technology, delivery coordination and post-launch support.
  • Geographic scope: Asia Pacific, Central Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Operating context for solo work: End-to-end ownership across problem framing, design, build, and delivery.
